We talked about which channels are worth using, what role price currently plays in the purchasing process and how to increase customer loyalty. On May - , we were a partner of the strategic networking forum for the retail sector - E-Commerce Challenge , which took place at the Hotel Courtyard by Marriott in Warsaw. During two days of lectures, our attention was drawn to the following issues: e-commerce profitability – also in the context of the omnichannel model, process optimization as a way to achieve long-term savings in the company, verification of investments in development in times of crisis.
The growing importance of international expansion (crossborder) and sales via marketplace platforms was emphasized many times during the presentation. However, the main character of many speeches was artificial intelligence (AI) and data photo retouching analysis, aimed at improving user experience through personalization. As a conference partner, we also had the opportunity to share our experiences. Tomasz Gutkowski, Head of Business Development Unity Group, led a discussion panel during which we and our interlocutors discussed ways to acquire customers in times of crisis.
